Students use their cards as a resource for spelling practice, writing assignments, and playing games. Cards were created to support memory through the use of mnemonics, visual imagery and picture clues. Each card corresponds to a different spelling lesson in Set 1. This deck includes 21 full color and back-to-back spelling rule cards on heavy stock.
Rules in Set 1 begin with closed and open syllable words and move into schwa patterns that include more complex 3 syllable words. These cards are appropriate for multiple grade levels.
